When a group of 56 young boys and girls in the age group of 14 to 23 years who don’t know each other become friends, have enriching peer to peer gender conversations, engage and make presentations together, are inspired and voice their new learning’s after five hours of learning experiences, you know that you have triggered something in their minds. This was the essence of the youth WORKSHOP held on October 2, 2015 in New Delhi.
The participants belonged to low income and marginalised families across Delhi-NCR and were nominated by seven NGOs who work closely with them. These organisations were the Samarpan Foundation, Chintan, Karm Marg, Sunaay Foundation, Manzil, Kutumb Foundation, and Feminist Approach to Technology.
The workshop was facilitated by Aanchal Kapur, Kanchan Verma and Manjri Sewak.
