This publication documents the proceedings of a workshop organised by WISCOMP at Manav Rachna International University, Faridabad. The workshop aimed to expose young students and faculty members to issues relating to the social dynamics of gender, how gender differentiates from sex, and how the media plays an active role in perpetuating patriarchal stereotypes. Alongwith a screening of 'He named me Malala' and a discussion on gender rights by Dr. Meenakshi Gopinath, the workshop included an acitve participation of the students of the university.
