Diksha Poddar is an Intern with WISCOMP and is concurrently pursuing her Masters’ in Philosophy (M.Phil.) from School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University. She has completed her Masters’ degree in Development Studies from Ambedkar University where the focus of her research and study was on ‘Identity & stereotypes: Experiences of youth from Kashmir & Delhi’. She has a post-graduate Diploma in Conflict Transformation and Peacebuilding, Lady Shri Ram College and a B.A in Political Science from Lady Shriram College.
Diksha has partaken in several youth leadership initiatives, one of the most significant being the ‘The Multi-Stakeholder Engagement Initiative’ (TMSEI), which seeks to provide a space for expression and dialogue to various stakeholders involved in the conflict in Kashmir. Her current focus is in the examination of the challenges to peace and development towards the integration of South Asia.
