WISCOMP’s Silver Jubilee celebrations drew to a close with a warm and deeply reflective gathering at the India International Centre Annexe in New Delhi, bringing together friends, mentors, collaborators, and long-time supporters who have been integral to its 25-year journey. The event served as both a celebration of solidarity and a moment of collective remembrance, held in a month that also marks the twenty-fifth anniversary of the UN Women, Peace and Security agenda – an agenda whose spirit has animated WISCOMP’s work. The programme featured the release of a special film and a commemorative volume, Peace Notes: Resonances from the Field, that brought together the diverse voices, memories, and experiences that have shaped WISCOMP’s journey. Throughout the gathering, there was a palpable sense of gratitude for the generosity, encouragement, and steadfast support that have sustained WISCOMP across moments of growth as well as challenge, strengthening its resolve to continue fostering cultures of peace and coexistence in an increasingly embattled world.
